I Want to Change!

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”

Lao Tzu

How good one feels when able to fully express this desire! Because the old has worn us out. Because our innards miss the tremors of pure excitement. It’s not enough to simply daydream of our capacities. We want to do them.

For those who want to change, a road map is beneficial:

Why do I want to make changes in this particular matter?

What are the things that are making me unhappy in my current state?

How does continuing in this state affect me?

What do I expect from this change?

Where do I see myself at the end of this journey?

What do I want to get rid of and replace in my life?

How can I realize my change?

Which steps do I need to take and in which order?

Who do I see as an example and from whom can I receive support?

If we want to change we have to start with the answers. Making those answers a reality takes attention, passion, and strength. We can get to work today and take the first step toward our new life.

Or we can remain where we are. And nothing changes.

The choice is ours.
